June 21, 2019

Delivering on the promise of a NextGen SKN would require a revolution in public service delivery that would ensure that government becomes more transparent and responsive to the people it is meant to serve. The creation of a next generation public service is a national imperative if St. Kitts & Nevis is to remain competitive in the 21st Century Global Economic environment. Labour will reorient and strengthen the civil service to be a more professional. We will introduce results-based performance assessments for all government employees at every level. The salary and benefits of the civil service will be reviewed and a bonus system that rewards performance will be introduced. Under the NextGen SKN Labour Movement the civil service will be a well trained and upskilled workforce.
